NOYS
® does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information. We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information.
We collect this information through the NOYS
® Global Youth Traffic Safety Month™ (GYTSM™) registration process. This registration process collects addresses, phone, and e-mail addresses for contest award information processing, this information is required by the user to ensure accurate follow-through.
Information Provided by Users You do not have to give us personal information to visit our website. If you choose to provide us with additional information about yourself through an email message, form, survey, etc., we will only maintain the information as long as needed to respond to your question or to fulfill the stated purpose of the communication, such as notify you when your submission is posted, or send you information you have requested and opted in to receive. The information will not be disseminated to third parties for any personal and/or marketing purposes. However, all communications addressed to the Webmaster are maintained, as required by law, for historical purposes. These communications are archived on a monthly basis, but are also protected by the Privacy Act which restricts our use of them, yet permits certain disclosures.
